Arcanely has finally been restored to order, but that of a different kind. Ruled by the Executor, there is no room for error or magic of any kind. Out of fear that Arcane would fall into chaos once more, any form of magic or creative abilities has been banned. It is seen as a dangerous and lethal weapon, and any child who displays any signs of this potential is sent to their death. These children are known as the discarded, and in the Executor’s eyes are nothing more than traitors to Arcanely. He must do everything in his power to keep his land safe, and most importantly…under control.
But you can never truly eliminate magic, and in the world of Artificlen it continues to thrive. Ruled and protected by the Enchanter, Artificlen has become a safe haven to those who have abilities some could only dream of. They are the discarded: children, teens, and young adults who have since made Artificlen their home. They are painters, singers, dreamers, each and every single one born with an artistic gift that is entwined with magic. And all of them are working together in hopes of one day restoring other worlds and cities like Arcanely itself. It’s going to take time and a lot more on their side.
You will have to figure out where you belong, and whose side you are willing to fight for. To restore a place of magic and wonder, or continue to live a life of order and fear.
